Profit Software and Länsförsäkringar – partnership from day one

Länsförsäkringar, one of the largest bank and insurance companies in Sweden chose Profit Software to modernize its outpayment system. The system handles all outgoing pension payments, totalling close to two million transactions per year.

In 2014 Länsförsäkringar was in a situation where they needed to replace their current outpayment system. Profit Software offered a solution that matched perfectly with Länsförsäkringar’s demands.

-Already on the day one we felt that Profit Software showed genuine interest towards our needs. Project team was willing to work with us and discuss the requirements, says Länförsäkringar’s Project Manager Mats Henebratt.


Business processes stayed invariable

All Länsförsäkringar’s other systems continued to work the way they did before the renewal and there was a clear definition of what the outpayment system’s role was in that process.

-The thing we liked most was the flexible and modular solution. There were no real changes in our business processes, just minor alterations, continues Henebratt.

Quality was the top priority in the project because when handling clients’ money, there’s no room for mistakes.

-From the very beginning our experts talked with Profit Software’s experts. These discussions made us understood what the challenges and requirements were about and furthermore have a clear picture of the project scope.


Communication and commitment

The project team consisted of people from Sweden, Finland and Estonia.

-This project succeeded due to commitment from both teams with focus on the project goal. We shared the common vision, and throughout the project we worked professionally and never lost the sight of that vision, summarizes Henebratt.

Profit Software implemented the system renewal to Länsförsäkringar during 2014 and 2015. In total the project took one and a half year.

The Länsförsäkringar Alliance comprises 23 local and customer-owned regional insurance companies and the jointly owned Länsförsäkringar AB. Customers are provided with a complete offering of banking and insurance services through their local, regional insurance companies.
